Steven Lowell Smith is a native of Carmi and a 1976 graduate of Carmi Community High School, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BS in Accounting in 1981. He passed the Uniform CPA exam in 1982 and earned his MBA in Finance and Economics from DePaul University and became a licensed Enrolled IRS Agent in 2017.

Steve was drawn to tax consulting and preparation so that he could leverage a tax background and provide a more extensive menu of financial services to the public. Steve is currently a Carmi Kiwanis Club board member, Bulldog Booster sponsor, and enjoys golf, gardening and chess. Contact us today for all of your tax filing needs.
